Sex and The Middle Way
Buddhists think sex is not a big deal. The key is moderation, The Middle Way, in all things. Buddhism is not like Christianity.
Some Bits about Buddhism
Theravāda is the prevailing branch of Buddhism in places like Thailand. It relies a lot on chanting in Pāḷi and learning the Pāḷi Canon, the Tipiṭaka (The Three Baskets). Zen and Amidism are of the Mahāyāna branch of Buddhism. All Buddhists practice meditation.
Zen Buddhism is the sect of Buddhism which has been really well-known in the West. Zen tries to be non-logocentric, as it steers away from words. Riddles called kōan are used to break rationality. Simplicity is key, as Zen absorbed from Dào (Taoism) in ancient history.
Some people are seeking a universe without drudgery. In the sect of Pure Land Buddhism, or Amidism, adherents believe in a universe called Pure Land, where there is no sickness or suffering and where one could attain Enlightenment much easier. In our universe, one would repeat the name of Amida Buddha, so as to attain Pure Land when one dies. Amida Buddha is different from the historical Gautama Buddha, who is different again from Maitreya Buddha, the buddha of the future.

Me llamo Victor "Nonong" Emmanuel Medrano Medrano. Me gustan la cosmología, el viaje, el gastrónomo, la naturaleza, el ánime, la ideolengua y la ficción especulativa. La cosmología es una extensión de la astronomía donde encuentro también mi espiritualidad. Mi ocupación de mis sueños es la exobiología o la astrobiología. Creo que la vida existe fuera de la Tierra.
Mi gran pasatiempo es la ficción especulativa que ya incluye la ciencia ficción y la fantasía. Hay muchos autores que son mis favoritos. Incluyen a Olaf Stapledon, Larry Niven, Isaac Asimov, Piers Anthony y Samuel Delany.
Mis lugares favoritos donde visité son Tokio en Japón, Luxor en Egipto y París en Francia. Me gustaría visitar Centroamérica y Sudamérica, pero ya visité México en Norteamérica y España en la Unión Europea. Imagino las Filipinas alternativas como Paraguay, bilingual del español y del idioma indígeno.
Me gusta beber el té de burbujas. Me gusta comer el tofu. Mis frutas favoritas incluyen la sandía, el durián, la manzana de agua, el ume y la yaca. En la cocina filipina, me gustan la kaldereta de la carne de cabro y el laing de hojas de taro con la carne de puerco.

Richmond Public Market Little Vacation
Before seeing the doctor today, I have vacationed for a few hours at the Richmond Public Market. It's like a big garden atrium that looks like 22nd century tropical Southeast Asia. At Captain Wa, I buy white rice with fried squid, fried fish, and fried tofu. It all tastes like fried chicken because I've been devouring fried chicken for some weeks now. At Peanut's, I get a Sour Plum Bubble Green Tea. At QQ, I get a Cold Mint Bubble Green Tea. At Peanut's again, I get a Lychee Bubble Green Tea. Then, from there again, I get a Starfruit Bubble Green Tea. They're all delicious!
